General Banking Affairs

To support the day-to-day needs of our clients we provide immediate advice and assistance relating to such matters as the following:

• Letters of Credit requiring individual attention due to peculiar circumstances or other unusual factors.
• Customer Account matters requiring advice in connection with specific issues such as the bank's right of set-off against account funds, rights relating to multiple accounts, "freezing" of accounts and the like.
• Bank Guarantees requiring individual attention due to peculiar circumstances or other factors in the issuance or call of the Guarantees.
• General Advices relating to Saudi banking regulations or other Saudi laws impacting on banking activities in the Kingdom.

Significant Documentation & Due Diligence

We offer our support in connection with specific matters involving significant legal documentation or "due diligence" review, such as:

• Loan Agreements involving substantial amounts or having unusual characteristics such as ancillary pledge agreements or other form of "security" for the loan.
• Syndication Agreements involving the syndication of the loan among a group of banks.
• Investment Agreements whether made by the bank for the investment of its own funds or between the bank and its customers pursuant to which the bank acts as portfolio manager.
• Opinion Letters in respect of major transactions where advice of counsel is sought relating to specific aspects of the deal.

Specialized Services
